- Amendment # 2 includes the followings items: 1) Question and Answer from general contractor 2) Automated Package Processing System (APPS) site preparation guide. The United States Postal Service intends to award a Design Build GMP Competitive contract for design and construction of a new building for a Mail Processing Facility in Miami, Florida. The scope of work for this project included but is not limited to design and construction of 480,000 square foot the site is Opa Locka West Airport in Miami-Dade County. The total period for design and construction of the project will be 600 days from the date indicated on the Notice to Proceed. The construction estimates for this project are in the range of $45,000,000 to $50,000,000. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the following location: Location: Miami P&DC Room # 113 2200 N.W. 72nd Ave. Miami Fl. 33152-9997 Date: Thursday August 9, 2007 Time: 9:00 am Site visit will be held after the pre-proposal meeting on Thursday August 9, 2007 at 1:00 pm.
