- Description
- It is the Government's intent to solicit services from Video Networks, Incorporated (VNI) located in Gaithersburg, MD on a sole-source basis for the purpose of acquiring an upgrade of the AMX TPI3 hardware, video matrix switcher, liquid crystal on silicon based projectors, software, and microphone system currently in operation at the Internal Revenue Service Management Information Center (MIC) located in New Carrollton, MD. The VNI system installed at the IRS MIC is controlled by VNI hardware, software, and specialized aspects of the VNI. VNI is the sole provider, who integrated and customized the existing system at MIC. This procurement is a small business set aside, NAICS code is 334310, and the small business standard is $6.5M. The contract line item numbers (CLIN) include: 6 ceiling mounted microphones, video matrix switcher, 5 Digital Light Processing based projectors with 3,000 ANSI lumen max plus shipping and handling. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, responsible sources may identify their interest and submit technical information and technical capability statement in response to this notice via email to faith.m.ashton@irs.gov no later than 15 calendar days from posting of this notice. The Government will consider all responses that provide clear and convincing information demonstrating contractor's ability to perform required service. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All Treasury contractors are required to be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to receipt of award.
