- The Contracts Department, Code 111, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, California, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm fixed-price type contract. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items and is prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, but a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Description: The following L-3 Communications? This solicitation document and incorporated provis ions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circu lar (FAC) 2005-16. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212 3 (Alt I), Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (Mar 2005) and DFARS 252.212 7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (Jun 2005) with offer. Delivery shall be FOB Destination in accordance with FAR Clause 52.247-34. Time of delivery shall be in accordance with offeror?s proposed best delivery schedule and be delivered within a timely manner after the order has been placed. Ship to address will be Oxnard, CA 93033 (a complete addre ss will be provided at time of award). The NAICS code is 335929 and size standard is 1,000 employees for this procurement.
