- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F2U1637180A004/1637180A003. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334310 and the size standard of 750 employees applies to this procurement. The requirement is for CLIN 0001: Upgrade VIP Classrooms 1-6 in bldg 500 require removal of existing overhead projection systems, overhead projection wiring (using existing conduit), projection screens and surround sound equipment and the installation of new equipment that replaces all of the old. Additionally the installation of AirLiner wireless slate or equal will be needed. All equipment removed must be given to government personnel for disposal. CLIN 0002: TRS Projection Systems in bldg 938 require removal of existing overhead projection systems, overhead projection wiring (using existing conduit), projection screens and surround sound equipment and the installation of new equipment that replaces all of the old. Additionally the installation of AirLiner wireless slate or equal will be needed. All equipment removed must be given to government personnel for disposal. Work is to be performed at Luke Air Force Base, AZ 85309 during normal working hours. Hours are 7:30 AM ? 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri, however, contractor may work outside of these hours and days with proper coordination in advance with the Contracting Officer. All prospective vendors must attend the planned site visit that will take place on 11 Sep 07 at 10:00 AM to asses the areas and the scope of work. All vendors are limited to two persons for the site visit and names and contact information for each vendor are required no later than three business days prior to the site visit; 10:00 AM on 6 Sep 07. Failure to attend the site visit will render any quote void and it will not be reviewed. The authorized contractor shall provide a valid drivers license, current vehicle registration, valid vehicle insurance certificate to obtain a vehicle pass once selected. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their quote, which can be found at http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil.
