Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F2U1637180A001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334310 and the size standard of 750 employees applies to this procurement. The requirement is for CLIN 0001: LCD Monitors for 56 TRS requires 24 LCD screens, mounted in fours at six different locations, capable of accepting a minimum of two composite (coaxial) video inputs and having the capability to easily allow for switching between the channels. The screens be capable of correctly displaying a standard NTSC signal from an 8mm tape deck. The screens will be mounted side by side in groups of four per room. The total width of the four screens when mounted can not exceed 54?. Additional items needed will be power strips with surge protection and video cables to connect all of the monitors to the government furnished tape decks. All equipment must be installed and demonstrated to be functional upon completion and all cabling must be neatly bound together. Work is to be performed at Luke Air Force Base, AZ 85309 during normal working hours. Hours are 7:30 AM ? 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri, however, contractor may work outside of these hours and days with proper coordination in advance with the Contracting Officer. All prospective vendors must attend the planned site visit that will take place on 11 Sep 07 at 2:00 PM to asses the areas and the scope of work. All vendors are limited to two persons for the site visit and names and contact information for each vendor are required no later than three business days prior to the site visit; 2:00 PM on 6 Sep 07. Failure to attend the site visit will render any quote void and it will not be reviewed. The authorized contractor shall provide a valid drivers license, current vehicle registration, valid vehicle insurance certificate to obtain a vehicle pass once selected. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies. The clause at FAR 52.212-4,Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
