- Western Area Power Administration intents to negotiate a sole source contract for the ABB Type 362ELF Breaker Rebuild Kit and incidental professional instruction for repair and rebuild of breaker. This is a commercial item acquisition per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the simplified procedures authorized by FAR Subpart 13.5. Western will conduct repair of on-site breaker per the instruction book recommended practices and per the instruction of Class I Engineer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this is 335313 and the business size standard is 750 employees. This notice is not a request for quote/proposals. However, all interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by emailing the Contracting Officer, Frances Gutierrez at gutierre@wapa.gov or by faxing 970 461-7377, no later than September 10, 2007. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm MST, Monday through Friday.
