Description
Description: See numbered note: 12 and 26. NSN 2990-01-147-9284 ? Valve, Positive Crankcase Ventilation being procured in accordance with Army (19207) source controlled drawing 12340256 with the approved sources being AM General (34623) P/N 12340256 pr P/N 5578867 and General Motors (7X677) P/N 25042462. The total quantity being procured is 66,514 with 9,129 each going to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130 and 57,385 each going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. There is also an option for up to 33,257 each included in the solicitation. This solicitation and will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date 09/18/07. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are not available. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, and JWOD as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 10,000 each in 150 days plus 10,000 each every 30 days thereafter until complete. In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
