- The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), Riverdale, MD, intends to acquire vacutainer sterile glass tubes w/red stoppers. CLIN 001 - 13x100 mm tubes, CLIN 002 - 16x100mm tubes and CLIN 003 - 13x75mm tubes. All tubes shall be glass, plain, sterile, silicone coated on the inside, pre-labeled, with pre-measured vacuum sufficient to draw various mls. of blood. Delivery to USDA, APHIS, National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Veterinary Services requires an estimated 4,000,000 tubes with stoppers for the base period and 4-1 year options to purchase 4,000,000 additional tubes with stoppers. This is a firm fixed price requirements contract. FOB Destination. This procurement is set aside 100% for a small business. Contract period is date of award through September 30, 2004, with the 4 one-year renewal options to extend the effective period. Not to exceed five (5) years. A multiple award is anticipated. The solicitation, #AG-6395-S-07-0022 shall be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will not be issued. The solicitation and the specifications will be made available electronically at this website only. All changes to the pre-solicitation notice, solicitation and any attachments shall be posted to the website at: www.FedBizOpps.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFEROR REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERDIOCIALLY FOR UPDATES. The offeror must submit a street mailing address and an email address (if available) in all correspondence in reference to this requirement. The Request for Proposal (RFP) should be posted to this website on or about February 12, 2007.
