- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a Reactor Plasma Vacuum System. The plasma process system (Plasma Cleaner) will be provided as a complete turn-key operational tool, including mechanical pump with oil and system manual for operaion and maintenance. The specifications are below and can be viewed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . The system should meet the following requirements: -The housing must be a ?table top? form factor. Height not to exceed 36?; width not to exceed 25?; depth not to exceed 28?. -Chamber size must be minimum 14? in length and minimum 14? in width and minimum 14? in height. -Turn-key system including pump. -Installation and on-site training -Basic power requirement 120 VAC, 20 Amp, 50/60 Hz service. -Minimum 500W RF power source. -Automatic RF Tuning network for RF load impedance matching. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. DO Rating is DO-C9. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort by e-mail to Janicea.L.McCree@nasa.gov. In writing, fax, or mail to NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, 8800 Greenbelt Road, Code 210.3, Building 11, Room S209, Greenbelt, Maryland 20771 no later than 4:00pm eastern standard local time on September 6, 2007. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than September 4, 2007. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B".
