- Description
- The GSA Federal Systems Integration & Management Center (FEDSIM), in support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has a requirement for specific SUN server brand name equipment (see attached Brand Name Justification document), associated brand name or equal networking/support items, training, and on-site support at the University of Rwanda, in east-central Africa. This equipment is in support of the USAID African Virtual Open Initiatives and Resources (AVOIR) project, which has chosen SUN server equipment as its networking standard. The specific equipment and support required for this effort is included in the attached RFQ. The contractor will be required to deliver all products (FOB Destination), and provide all installation, training, and support to/at the University of Rwanda. Delivery is required within 30 days after award, with installation and training required within 90 days after delivery. On-site support (up to 2 occurrences over a period of one year), will additionally be required. This will be a single award for ALL items. CCR registration is required. The acquisition is being conducted in accordance with the policies/procedures contained within FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
