- Description
- The Office of Thrift supervision (OTS) intends to issue a purchase order to Fitch Training, 28 Headfort Place, London, SW1X7DH, UK for the development of course material on Risk Management and Economic Capital Training and provide the course to OTS Officers. The scope of the training will focus on best practices in risk management and the evaluation of how banks manage risk within an overall capital optimism/economic capital program for commercial and mortgage banks with a broad global perspective. OTS intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal and no solicitation documentation is available. However, all responses received with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capacity to meet the requirement received by September 14th, 2007 at 2:00 PM EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Such information, if submitted, should be forwarded via email to Illona.Williams@ots.treas.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 PM, September 7th, 2007. Oral questions will not be accepted. If this procurement is competed, no additional synopsis will be published and a request for quotation will only be forwarded to the intended vendor and firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
