- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for Aft Fuel Tank Shell. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures utilizing best value evaluation of offers. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for proposal is N00253-07-T-0268. This procurement will be solicited and awarded as a Firm Fixed Price, for 2 first articles and 6 production units for the base year with four options years for five units each, FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. First article testing will be waived for proven vendor. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or around 4 September 2007. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 10 September 2007. When issued, the RFP will be posted electronically via NECO. RFQ (solicitation package)will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil and Federal Business Opportunities http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and is available for download. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to laurie.p.davis@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO or Federal Business Opportunities website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. Any questions or requests for drawings should be submitted in writing via fax at (360) 396-7036 or e-maile d to laurie.p.davis@navy.mil. After downloading the solicitation, firm s interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/) and JCP Certification at FEDTEDS (https://www.fedteds.gov).
