- There is no solicitation. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and Genereal Services Division in Atlanta, GA has plans to award to using other than full and open competition to Marine Biotech Inc limited of the following:The test was conducted at Warm Springs under standard production conditions and using the hatchery's water supply. Results demonstrated two-fold benefits: (1) reduction in overall operational expenses, and (2) improved human safety, since hydrated lime application would no longer be require. Marine Biotech has been producing water treatment systems for over twenty years and has an excellent reputation for high quality and customer service. Although Marine Biotech is not the only fiberglass manufacturer, they are the only manufacturer that has patented rights to their new design --- which is the CycloBio fluidized bed water treatment tower. The Service intends to award Sole Source to Marine Biotech Inc. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not open subject requirement to full and open competition was made FAR 6.302-1. Technical inquires may be directed to Lawerence Ford at 706-655-3382.
