- The United States Army Corps of Engineers-New York District is seeking to acquire a new Weather Shelter for the Caven Point Office in Jersey City, New Jersey. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses will be included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The NAICS Code for this project is 332311 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This solicitation is 100% set aside for SMALL BUSINESS firms. The terms of this contract shall be to deliver and install the sh elter in approximately 8-10 weeks from date of order. The successful contractor will provide the material, labor and necessary equipment and tools necessary to furnish and install one (1) new weather shelter s described in Weather Shelter Requirements i n the solicitation, which will be issued within seven (7) days after the posting date of this announcement. The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Offerors must submit their Representations and Certifications as part of their RFQ. Interested parties, who are interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation, should log on to www.FedTeds.gov and download the sol icitation under W912DS-07-T-0025. The Contract Specialist assigned to this procurement is Renee George at (917) 790-8177. Hand carried proposals must be received in room 1843 prior to 7 September 2007 at 2:00 PM. Attention is directed to DFARS Clause 25 2.204-7004, required Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractor must be in the CCR database. Lack of registration in CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors must affirm, prior to award of the contract, that it is so registered.
