- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-07-T-0259. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify th eir interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before the closing date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by t he Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determi ning whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is a sole source to The Cooke Corporation, 6930 Metroplex Dr., Romulus, MI 48174-2000 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19. (iv) The associated NAICS code is 423410 (v)(vi) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, CLIN 0001 HSFC-PRO Ultra High Speed Framing Camera system (P/N HPRO25-S20-P46-4) 1 EA; CLIN 0002 Extended Warranty for two years which includes a wa rranty on electronics and maximum one intensifier replacement per HSFC PRO Camera in two year time period 1 EA; CLIN 0003 Trigger Converter with 10 meter fiber optic cable 1 EA; CLIN 0004 Installation and training for one day at Government Site 1 EA. (vii) Delivery shall be FOB Destination and delivery is required by one month after date of contract award. Delivery shall be made to US Army Research Laboratory, ARL Receiving Section, Bldg 434, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Acceptance shall be perfo rmed at US Army Research Laboratory, APG, MD 21005. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: None (viii) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items, with its offer. The succes sful offeror will be required to register with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
