- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release request for proposal W91CRB-07-R-0071 on or about 06 September 2007 for silent, man-portable entry/rescue mini-jaws for the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Fo rce. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation will result in one Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with firm fixed price delivery orders for three years. The minimum guarantee will be 6 kits and the contract maximum will be 300 kits. These items are commercial in nature and the acquisition will be governed by FAR 12. The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site locate d at the following address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location a s the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable d ocuments.
