- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Principle NAICS is 336322 and size standard is 750 employees. The Florida Army National Guard, FLARNG, requires an Alternator-Generator Starter Test Bench. The Government intends to place a single order without discussions. Therefore, offers should submit their best offer up front. Do not assume you will be able to revise your offer. Requirement: Item 0001: The Alternator-Generator Starter Test Bench should have the following minimum characteristics: meters and controls needed : 4-1/2 inch output, analog, voltmeter; scales: 0 to 20 with 1/2 volt divisions for 6 and 12 volt, 0 to 40 with 1 volt divisions for 24 and 32 volt. 4-1/2 inch outpu t, analog, ammeter; scales: 0 to 200 with 5 amp divisions, 0 to 600 with 15 amp divisions. 4-1/2 inch field, analog, current meter; scale: 0 to 15 with 0.2 amp divisions. 4-1/2 inch, analog, meter with dual function determined by selector switch positi on, one selection is as a voltmeter; scales: 0 to 20 and 0 to 40, used for secondary voltage readings such as alternator relay terminal, other selection is a alternator a.c. ripple volts, used to verify condition of stator and diodes. 4-1/2 inch, analo g, achometer reads alternator-generator rpm including pulley diameter calibration; scale: 0 to 10,000 rpm, in 500 rpm divisions. Field selector switch required for external a. or internal b. grounded alternator-generator field circuits. Adjustable field rheostat, circuit breaker protected. full field momentary by-pass switch. Voltage selector switch for 6, 12, 24, and 32 volt units without battery reconnection. Starter press-to-test push button switch allows free run no-load starter testing. Alternat or generator load control: total electrical load required is 600 amps, 12 volt, and 300 amps, 24 volt. Drive motor and power requirements: variable speed, variable frequency, drive; drive motor 20 hp, 230 volt, 60 hz, 3 phase, overload protected with fo rward and reverse; pull-push button for motor control. forward-reverse switch. Alternator/generator mounting requirements: capability to mount alternators and generators with mounting ears and without mounting ears; must be able to secure alternators and generators for test purposes, 12 inch diameter mounting required, drive belt adjustment speed needed.
