Description
NOUN: MANIFOLD, FLUID, SOL FA8104-07-R-0615, OC-ALC/748 CBSG/PKP, (405)739-4382. Item 0001: NSN 2995-01-310-2142PR, P/N 5054M61G08, applicable to the F110 Engine. Description: Fan/Core distributor is a housing containing two metering valves that provide fuel to the spraybars during augmenter operation when selected. The function is to distribute fuel from the manifolds to the fan/core spraybars in the correct amount so as to maximum performance in flight. Dimensions: Approx 3? by 6? by 1? thick. The material consists of aluminum alloy. Destination: Tinker AFB OK 73145. Delivery: 359 DARO. Anticipated quantities will range between 314 to 1886. The best estimated quantity is 1257 ea but the actual quantity will be determined at time of award. A Contractor First Article Test will be required for if the contractor has not made this item within the last 36 months. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and are set forth in the OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. The approximate issue date is 17 Sep 07. The approximate response date will be 17 Oct 07. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps and should be obtained from there. Please do not call this office for a solicitation. The solicitation/procurement data list is approved for release only to U.S. DoD contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). Submission of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. The technical data will be posted on the www.fedteds.gov website and will not be available until the solicitation is posted. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
