- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 with Luidia Inc, 125 Shoreway Road, San Carlos CA 94070 for the purchase of one (1) EBeam custom interactive system capable of stitching a 15 ft x 5 ft interactive projection space for use with a single concurrent interactive pen. This system uses the System III (D12 Board) or newer, with Blue Tooth, Projection Pen, and EBeam interactive software. It provides with the Windows DSK, SPI, and advanced point filtering algorithms. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within 7 days after date of publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 334111. SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION Luidia Inc. develops the EBeam hardware and software, and has demonstrated that such a customization is possible in order to meet the needs of AFRL/IFSB. Luidia holds the intellectual property rights on the EBeam and therefore the company is uniquely qualified to make the proposed enhancements requested by AFRL/IFSB. Ludia is also providing the Government with a SDK which allows for customized components to be integrated into the Government's software.
