Description
Polysomnographer Technologist and Technician Services, Lackland AFB, Texas. This is a presolicitation notice for personal services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the following: Polysomnographic Technologist shall demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Polysomnographic Technicians shall demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients for WHMC. Services include but are not limited to: - Performs Polysomnographic studies in accordance with currently acceptable guidelines as defined by the BRPT and the MTF. - Normal workload per shift is a minimum of two (2) studies per shift to include the scoring of studies. - Operate appointment phones and operate current computer systems to enter patient data and treatment. - The Polysomnographic Technologist duties shall also include performing end-tidal CO2 monitoring and ventilator management for pediatric patients. The Government is anticipating awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The anticipated contract will be for a base period of 01 Oct 07 thru 30 Sep 07 with 4 one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621111, and the small business size standard is $9M. This acquisition is being issued as a 100% HUBZONE set-aside. The Service Contract Act of 1965 as amended applies to this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal and will be posted at Fed Biz Ops (http://www.eps.gov) electronically, on or about 04 Sep 07. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. The solicitation must be downloaded from the internet. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
