- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The reference number is 7TC408. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and DFARS change notice 20070828. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337122. The size standard is 500 Employees. The contractor shall provide the following item: Description: MATCH EXISTING CLASSROOM FURNITURE. 1,740 Each Folding Tablet Arm Student Desk Right handed only, Air Force Blue seat & back (vinyl), Light oak FTA Char dark powder coat frame improved FTA plywood tablet. Model #1040ABAFTA. (Customer is requesting a first article be provided). Please include Payment Terms, FOB Destination, and how long it will take to ship to BMT Warehouse, Building 5189, Lackland AFB TX. 737TH TRG has seven recruit, housing, and training (RH&T) facilities that have the same exact student chairs in each of the classrooms. It is an AF Basic Military Training requirement to maintain uniformity and consistency of furnishings throughout all training facilities that trainees/Airman occupy and train in. The Government need to match existing classroom furniture and the Government requests a ?First Article? or ?test article? be provided from any unfamiliar source. Student desks must meet the exact specifications identified in the line item description above.
