Description

The Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave., Albany NY 12208, intends to solicit for and award a firm fixed-price contract for full service and preventative maintenance of eight Aerco KC Series Gas Fired Hot Water Heaters. Sources are being solicited to identify any potential vendor capable of performing this work who fits a SBA-approved socio-economic classification. If at least two responsible sources are identified that fulfill the same socio-economic category, the Contracting Officer may set this solicitation aside. If no responses are received, or there is no level of response adequate to justify a socio-economic set-aside, the Contracting Officer may release this solicitation to the open market. Under the provisions of PL 109-461, if only one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Veteran Owned Small Business concern is determined responsible and offers reasonable pricing, the Contracting Officer may set this work aside to negotiate a sole-source award. Multiple SDVOSB or VOSB responses deemed able to perform this work will result in an appropriate competitive set-aside. Equipment serial numbers are as follows: 1. G-04-0991 2. G-93-237 3. G-02-1049 4. G-93-234 5. G-91-276 6. G-91-273 7. G-91-274 8. G-95-0258 All PMs will be performed as per manufacturer's specifications. PM's will include, but not be limited to, the following services: " Change igniter and flame detector - twice per year. " Clean under flow pipe - once per year. " Clean orifices on BTU Transmitter - twice per year. " Clean condensate line - twice per year. " Adjust and calibrate using combustion analyzer - one time per year.
