- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-07-RP-0110 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to procure Lisinopril Tablets. The estimated annual usage for Lisinopril is as follows: 73,405 bottles of 2.5MG, 100s; 82,453 bottles of 5MG, 100s; 38,383 bottles of 5MG, 1000s; 194,766 bottles of 10MG, 100s; 81,220 bottles of 10MG, 1000s; 155,674 bottles of 20MG, 100s; 123,106 bottles of 20MG, 1000s; 19,432 bottles of 30MG, 100s; 189,426 bottles of 40MG, 100s; 168,313 bottles of 40MG, 1000s. Award will be made (all or none) based on the lowest total evaluated price for items 1 - 10, taking into consideration the estimated quantities. The estimated annual usage listed above is for VA, Department of Defense (DOD), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP). VA reserves the right to add additional package sizes to the contract at a later date, when they become available or if offered in a vendor's proposal. This will not affect the quantities listed in the usage requirements. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DOD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors. Offerors must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Solicitation No VA-797-07-RP-0110 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about October 16, 2007, with a closing date of November 6, 2007. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
