- Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Boston Healthcare System, 150 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA--Intent to sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source with Computerized Medical Systems, 1145 Corporate Lake Drive, Saint Louis, MO 63132 for: Item 0001 Software Upgrade Interplant Treatment Planning Software (ITPSandITGS) QTY 1 EA and Item 0002 Microtouch stablizer stepper for implants QTY 1 EA. The government determined that only one manufacturer can satisfy the agency's requirement and intends to negotiate with only one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any manufacturer that determines it can meet the requirements may give written notice through e:mail to the Contract Specialist, leanne.daniels@va.gov by September 7, 2007, 2:00 PM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with above requirement at no cost or obligation to the government. All responses received will be evaluated by the government, however the information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received, the VA Boston Healthcare System will precede to sole source requirement to Computerized Medical Systems.
