- The U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Business Services is contemplating negotiating a small business sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, 41 USC 253(c)(1), with GoldSim Technology Group LLC, 22516 SE 64th Place, Suite 110, Issaquah, WA 98027-5379., under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), and pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. GoldSim is the only known source for renewals of maintenance agreements for it proprietary software licenses ??? ???GoldSim Pro.??? This will be accomplished under the part FAR 12 ??? Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 ??? Simplified Acquisition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 541511 with a business size standard of $23 million. The NNSA decision to select GoldSim is based on usage of the GoldSim Pro Software by the Nevada Site Office (NSO) to maintain its Performance Assessment/Composite Analysis Compliance. To purchase different software licenses would result in additional cost to NSO to develop, install, and implement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. NNSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this Notice.
