- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture, National Finance Center, Computer Resources Management, intends to make a sole source award to Sterling Commerce, located in Irving, TX for proprietary maintenance. The specific packages are: DIRECT AIX PACKAGE, DIRECT WIN PACKAGE, DIRECT OS390 CAP SERVER, DIRECT OS390 1-500 MIPS, DIRECT OS390 501-1000 MIPS, CD OS390ZSERIES MAX 50 MIPS PACK, CD OS390 SEC+(128) BIT CAP. Period of Performance will be October 01, 2007 to September 30, 2008. This action is a follow-on to a previous contract award and will provide for the continued use of maintenance previously purchased. If no responses are received in seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice, the Government will issue a purchase order. Firms who believe they can meet this requirement should provide cost information that will enable the Contracting Officer to determine if competitive action is appropriate. The anticipated date of this award is September 17, 2007. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. Currently, fiscal year 2008 funds are not available. The Government anticipates receiving funds. If funds are not received by the Government for this procurement, the Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with submission of information in response to this synopsis.
