- Solicitation Number N00421-06-R-0027 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This contract shall provide for information technology, information management, and information assurance support services primarily to the NAVAIR and the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Aircraft Division elements located at Patuxent River, Maryland, St. Inigoes, Maryland, and to other sites, as appropriate. This contract will provide services for a wide range of information technology and information management efforts including: software/system management, integration and sustainment; technological research; customer relationship management; information assurance/network security; systems/software integration (including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and data warehouse); enterprise architecture, and network operating system support (including support to specialized Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) networks)). Standard desktop and network support are under the domain of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and the provisions of that contract are already established. The RFP will be accessed through the NAVAIR Homepage. Interested offerors should notify the contract specialist at donna.voithoffer@navy.mil by email and they will be notified when the solicitation is posted on the NAVAIR Homepage. This solicitation is full and open. The NAICS code is 541511 with a small business size standard of $23M. This requirement will be a cost plus fixed fee type with one (1) base period of one (1) year and four (4) one year options, and is anticipated to begin 24 April 2007 and end (if all options are exercised) 23 April 2012. This requirement will have a performance based work statement and it is anticipated a rough order of magnitude of 663,000 man-hours of support will be required annually. All amendments shall be sent electronically. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The synopsis will be posted on the NAVAIR Home Page within five (5) days after release in the FedBizOpps notice, http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All information will reside on the NAVAIR Home Page, located on the World Wide Web (WWW).
