- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation number is N65538-07-Q-0085, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19. The associated NAICS code is 335311. This requirement is in support of a project managed by the Naval Sea Logistics Center Mechanicsburg, PA. See attached Request For Quotation for Line Item details. The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Contractors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Contractor will include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Contractors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its quote. Clauses FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer; Central Contractor Registration, DFARS 252.204-7004 Requ ired Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52-217-5 Evaluation of Options (not applicable if no options are stated above); apply to this solicitation. Quotes are due on 06 SEP 2007, by 4:00 PM EST, to the Naval Sea Logistics Center, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, by 4:00pm, Eastern Standard Time.
