- The Special Communications Requirements Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, MD has a requirement for the procurement of trailer system components for a mobile shelter. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S.C. 2304c (1) Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Base-X is the only company that can provide the components that will maintain 100% interoperability and commanality with already fielded Base-X trailer systems. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 624221 with a size standard of $6.5. Award is expected to be 28 September 2007. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they can identify interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all responses received by 3:30 PM EST on 7 September 2007. Note 22 applies. The Government will not pay for any information received.
