- THIS NOTICE REPLACES THE FORMER NOTICE UNDER SOLICITATION W52H0907T5613. Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) has a requirement for a service contract to disassemble and reassemble Forward Repair System. Contempl ate a one year requirements type contract with the option to extend the terms of the contract for two additional years. This will be solicited as a Full and Open procurement. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically qualified quoter. Solicit ation will be released on or about 15 September 2007. In order to provide a proposal, contractors must make a site visit on a specific date and time per instructions in the solicitation, prior to providing a proposal. Vendors must watch the AFSI solicita tion. Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102. Therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via th e internet: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. This solicitation will be issued electronically as well as any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders' mailing list. It is th erefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid open ing/receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
