- I. INTRODUCTION A. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. B. The combined synopsis and Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is: TARENG03007. C. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005 18, Effective 30 Jun 2007. D. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 334515. E. Basis for award Award shall be made on a sole source basis to Bitrode Corporation based in Fenton, MO, for the components that are required. A commonality is sought between the existing systems components and the components we are procuring. II. GENERAL A. The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for the following items, part numbers and quantities: 1. One (1) each Bitrode Model LCV2-1000-48 Cycle Life Test System 2. One (1) each Temperature Monitoring Option 3. One (1) each high Impedance Voltage Monitoring Input 4. Two (2) each Spare Parts Kit for LCV1-1000-48 B. Quotations must be received by TACOM no later than 12:00 PM (noon) EST, 10 Sep 2007. Email quotations to michael.christiansen@conus.army.mil. Contractors must be listed in the Central Contractor Registry prior to receiving an award. Refer to website www.ccr.gov for registration information. C.
