- The National Small Arms Center (NSAC) is soliciting its annual call for White Papers. The formal response period begins on 31 August 2007 and concludes on 4 October 2007. The requirements, format and governing restrictions are contained on the NSAC website (www.nationalsmallarmscenter.org) . National Small Arms Center AMSRD-AAR-AIJ Bldg 65 Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000 The National Small Arms Center (NSAC) and its Industry/Academe partnership, the National Small Arms Technology Consortium (NSATC), exist to promote innovation within the National Small Arms Commodity base to assure that the latest technology capabilities are reflected in this close combat weapon system commodity. The NSAC/NSATC operate in partnership with the U.S. Army Armaments Research,Developmentand Enginnering Center at Picatinny New Jersey. The annual White Paper process is a key element in assuring that the NSAC/NSATC strives toward that goal. White Paper submission is limited to members of the NSATC. Membership is international in scope.
