- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release a request for proposal W91CRB-07-R-0078 for Professional Support Services for the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). This proposed procurement is Unrestricted, SIC 7389 and the NAICS is 541990 with a size standard of $6,500,000.00. The acquisition is for a staff of one hundred and seven (107) full time positions in categories such as Administrative/Operations Support, Acqui sition Support, Database Managers, Communications Lead and Foreign Disclosure Officer. The Governments intent is to award a Time and Material type contract for a performance period of twelve (12) months. This request for proposal requires separate tech nical and cost proposals to be evaluated for award. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. L arge Business Firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan with their proposals. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is the Internet only. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format and free of c harge. The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm. The on-line version of the R FP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and r eviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the Army Single Face to Industry website on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract.
