- The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source: Automated Visual Protection Louisville, KY 40229-1230. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b), for BASE SYSTEM: 1 each AVP-5000-BASE, AVP-5000 Briefcase DVR, Plug-N-Play, Custom Pelican Case, 8ch Video 2ch audio 240/240fps Real-Time Internal HDD recording & Network Access. All software included. The unit comes in stalled and ready to operate with all of the options listed below. The unit requires no prior setup or internal construction, simply open the case, plug in your unit and you are ready. 1 each AVP-5000-VENT Intake / exhaust forced air ventilation system. Enables unit to operate with the system completely closed in all weather environment including direct rain. MFR PART NR: V3-UPGRADE-pre. 2 each AVP-5000-HDD 500GB HDD Storage upgrade. 1 each AVP-5000-DVDR DVD / RW upgrade for the main unit. 1 each AVP-5000-10VGA 10 inches A/V VGA monitor w/ speakers & remote. 1 each AVP-5000- 120 VAC 12Vdc Power upgrade. Upgrades the unit to operate from any 12Vdc power source such as car battery or vehicle power. Includes an external 12Vdc power connection so the system can remain plugged-in while system is closed and locked (if outdoor upgrade is added otherwise unit will need to remain open during operation. 8 each Wireless A/V Transmitt er AVP-5000-HW-C Wired hi-res Color Camera 3.6mm 480res. connects to transmitter pack. 8 each AVP-5000 - 1500M 1.2Ggz 1000mW Wireless video ransmitter / receiver including antennas. Digital Display 8ch TX/RX selectable 2000'-3000' line-of-sight. (up to 10 miles with optional directional antenna) Comes encased in a small Pelican carry case (appx: 9.25-in L x 7.56-inch W x 4.38-inch H) with 12V battery power for the camera and transmitter power. Industry standard video and power connections are included on outside of case for connection to any camera. 8 each Battery C harger Tactical briefcase Battery Charger / continues power. 1.2amp 2-stage charger. 8 each Wireless PTZ Transmitter AVP-5000-PTZ-... Wireless PTZ hi-res, 480Res 22X Optical 280X Digital Zoom, Day/Night Optics. Digital Display 8ch TX/RX selectable 2000'-3 000' line-of-sight. (up to 10 miles with optional directional antenna) Unit includes large tripod & joystick. PTZ and all accessories are enclosed in a separate case from the main system. Unit is plug & Play operation and operates on 12Vdc and 120Vac and i ncludes - PTZ camera, tri-pod, joystick controller and wireless video/data transmission equipment - Plug-N-Play!! The basis for restricting competition is because AAA Systems authorized dealer for TN / KY for March Network equipment. The NAICS Code for th is procurement is 334119. Small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and solicitation will not be issued; however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Su pporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to Demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Numbered Note 22 applies to this Synopsis. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source Negotiation with the manufacturers authorized distribu tor Automated Visual Protection.
