- The purpose of this amendment is to cover the fact that a site visit was held today as stated in the solicitation. The site visit lasted from 0940 to 1040 hrs. We went around the room clarifying the customers requirement. Few measurements were taken. All requirements and specifications are in accordance with the product descriptions. The additional following information was stated. Some things were not discussed but are left in this memorandum for consolidation purposes. End user shall be responsible for disconnecting existing PA system. Requested wall plates are regular typical wall plates. End user did not specify specific manufacturer or part numbers for these items. There are 3 projectors, 2 stationary, 1 mobile. When all 3 are to be used simultaneously end user prefers all 3 to display same images. Within this central dinning area there are 4 zones that can be separated by manual removable walls. There is a crawl space between the ceiling and roof. Post award, installation times will have to be coordinated with end user. Installation will have to be done outside of normal business hours. Club is closed on Mondays, so this will be a possible day for installation efforts. A certified electrician may be necessary, but is not a part of this requirement. The contractor will be held responsible for any errors or miscalculations in their offer. A site visit took place 30 August 2007, 0940 hrs PST; no further site visits are scheduled. In no event shall failure to attend the site visit constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Contractors must ensure they completely understand the customers requirement prior to submitting their offer.
