- NOTICE: The below requirement is hereby placed on indefinite hold. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron proposes to award a Sole Source Delivery Order to Ellason Weather Radar Systems for the acquisition of three (3) each EWR 700XD Tactical-portable Doppler Weather Radar Systems under GSA contract GS-03F-0056P. This is the only system known that is, self-contained, X-band doppler weather radar capable of up to 100km providing a wide range of meteorology and hydrology related weather products. The antenna, pedistal, and electronics (housed) are designed for exposed continuous outdoor operations. The system is designed for quick set up ? operational in 2 hours or less. The system software is scaleable and meets AFSOC requiremtns for NEXRAD Level 1I and III products for severe weather detection, interrogaton and trackintg in support of GWOT operations. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment to provide 3 each EWR 7000XD tactical-portable doppler radar systems delivered FOB Destination to Hurlburt Field FL. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This acquisition is Unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees; the SIC code is 3829. Any resulting delivery order shall be firm-fixed-price. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
