- This is a special notice of intent to award a brand name/sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12.203 and Far Part 13.5 with consideration given to FAR Part 5.202(a)(13) as supplemented to BRODART to provide all labor parts, tools, materials and transportation necessary to provide: Line Item 0001: McNaughton ADULT HARDBACK BOOK RENTAL PLAN INDEX G5B5 for the F. E. Warren AFB WY base library, bldg 214, for building collections of bestsellers and other popular books for the recreational and educational needs of library customers. The plan includes 50 monthly book allowance points and allows up to 800 books a year to be leased. Books arrive to the library brand new with a new plastic covering; Period of Performance: 1 Oct 2007 through 30 Sept 2008; Qty: 12 months. Line Item 0002: McNaughton CHILDRENS HARDBACK BOOK RENTAL INDEX GPC 4 for the F. E. Warren AFB WY base library, bldg 214, for building collections of bestsellers and other popular books for the recreational and educational needs of library customers. The plan includes 120 monthly book allowance points. Books arrive to the library brand new with a new plastic covering; Period of Performance: 1 Oct 2007 through 30 Sept 2008; Qty: 12 months. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 424920. The size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. This item will be provided to F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The proposed action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
