- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with CoWare, Inc. for the purchase of Signal Processing Worksysem (SPW) software maintenance and technical support for (3) existing Signal Processing Designer licenses for the period of 01 October 2007 through 30 September 2008. SPW is the key software tool used in the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) testbed. All simulation and VHDL generation is done with SPW and SPW's Hardware Design System. SPW was competitively chosen as the software. CoWare Inc., who manufactures and maintains this software is the sole provider of this service. No other company can provide upgrades or technical support. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 541519. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
