- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to make award to the Promega Corporation. The intended order is to provide FSS-i3 software, maintenance, support and training. The FSS-i3 relationship analysis software integrates and is compatible with existing FSS-IBD software which includes kits, instrumentation, software and hardware. Promega Corporation is the only U.S. distributor for Forensic Science Service (FSS). As a result Promega Corporation is the only responsible source to provide the necessary software to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
