Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Power Protection Services located at PO Box 360155, Dallas, TX 75336 for the annual renewal of preventative maintenance and repair of Power Distribution Units and Uninterrupted Power Systems with back-up batteries for the period of performance 10/01/2007 - 09/30/2007. The proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the Power Protection Services under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Power Protection Services. The NAICS code is 811219. The small business size is $6.5 million. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price purchase order. Interested partied may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quote (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is September 14, 2007 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
