- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to GPSit International Technologies, Bonita, CA for the acquisition of 25 each of the following equipment: GPSit Model FS1 tracker kits with unit, battery and charger; FS1 Data Cable for Programming; FS1 slap and stick deployment case; One time activation fee per unit; and a one year premium 7000 service plan. The proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the GPSit International Technologies under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for GPSit International Technologies. The NAICS code is 334220. The small business size is $6.5 million. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price purchase order. Interested partied may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quote (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is September 14, 2007 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
