- Description
- Description This office is currently in the acquisition planning process for the follow-on contract for Facilities Maintenance Support Services. The current contract was awarded through a competitive small business set-aside and the Government would like information from the various small business communities (e.g. 8(a), HUBZone, Service Connected Disabled Veterans, etc.) as to interest and capabilities. The projected period of performance would be a base period of approx. 6 months with four one-year option periods, performance is anticipated to start 31 Mar 2008. The solicitation number will be LAR08R00001, the expected release date is unknown at this time, however, a overview of this requirement will be available as a amendment. The functional areas requiring support include logistics and warehouse management, grounds maintenance, janitorial services and facilities maintenance. The information gathered as a result of this RFI will be considered market research. Responses to this RFI are requested no later than 12 Sep 2007. Interested parties are requested to respond in writing as to interest, comments and capabilities, to the Contracting Officer, Stephen H. Watters, at stephen.watters@dhs.gov.
