- The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to solicit for purchase of the following items: 1) 125 each Thermometer, Minimum, Amber Color Spirit, Range -15 to 125 Degrees F, NSN: 6660-00-551-2194, ASN: C122-1; 2) 125 each Thermometer, Minimum, Amber Color Spirit, Range -65 to 100 Degrees F, NSN: 6685-01-420-3717, ASN: C122-3; and 3) 250 each Thermometer, Minimum, Amber Color Spirit, Range -40 to 110 Degrees F, NSN: 6685-01-420-3716, ASN: C122-2. NOTE: The specifications will include the Clamp, Drawing No. C122-DR002/A and Stainless Steel Back/Assembly, Drawing No. C122-DR003/A to be made part of the Thermometer Assemblies. These thermometers are being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS), to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. These items support the National Weather Service (NWS) spare parts program. This requirement shall be considered a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this action is 334519. Delivery shall be on a Destination basis. The NWS may require the potential vendor to provide pre-production samples upon receipt of an award. Any small business sources are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after its publication.
