Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quote is a firm fixed price contract for the procurement of 60 portable barrier railing crowd control fencing. To view the RFQ, please see the solicitation attachment titled HQ0034-07-T-1042. Responses must be submitted via email to the Point of Contact listed below. Offerors must identify the Reference number in the Subject Line of the email and should include # of # if multiple emails are required for submission of entire response. Offerors are advised to submit electronic documents early and confirm successful transmission/receipt. Offerors also may want to consider sending more than one email to ensure size limitations will not hinder transmission. The Offeror must ensure that electronic submissions are readable, and have been verified as free of computer viruses. In the event that any files are defective (unreadable), the contracting officer immediately shall notify the offeror and permit the offeror to resubmit the unreadable portion of the response/submission. The contracting officer shall prescribe the method and time for resubmission after consultation with the offeror. The resubmission shall be considered as if it were received at the date and time of the original unreadable submission for the purpose of determining timeliness, provided the offeror complies with the time and format requirements for resubmission prescribed by the contracting officer. The Offeror must ensure that it has verified that its electronic response/submission is readable on the hardware and software operating system format specified below: Adobe Acrobat 5.0--PDF file format or compatible, Microsoft Office 2000 or compatible, or Windows Operating System 2000 or compatible A response that fails to conform to these requirements may be subject to interception or delay at Governmental electronic communications portals. This interception or delay may result in the response being lost, deleted, destroyed, or forwarded in such a manner that it at the target destination past the time and date of the deadline for submission established in this Request for Quote. In the event that a response/submission is lost, deleted, or destroyed due to the Offeror's failure to conform to these requirements contained in the above, such responses will be considered to have never been delivered to the Government.
