- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-07-T-5319, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. NAICS 332618 applies. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Virginia Beach, VA intends to award a combined synopsis/solicitation for the following: (CLIN) 0001: Mooring Lines, 2 inch DIA x 300 ft Vets 198-7 Aramid Four Strand w/each end. Break strength 280,000 lbs. 6 EACH (CLIN) 0002: Wire rope assemblies, 3/4 X 600ft X 6 X 36 HD GLV'D Thimble certified. 4 EACH The requested delivery date for the above items is October 5, 2007. The delivery address zip code is 92123. Please provide the cost of freight charges if applicable.
