Description

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award FSS and open market items via a GSA Delivery Order to the winning GSA vendor to acquire Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Equipment and Installation of such equipment at Reclamation Offices in Washington D.C. Under FAR 8, VTC equipment and related components will be awarded to the GSA vendor based on a competitively sourced process among GSA Federal Supply Schedule providers. Some items on the proposed Delivery Order are open market items and are being synopsized in this notice. It is the intent to award all requirements under one Delivery Order since the project must be integrated seamlessly for effective operation, installation, and warranty. The required equipment and open market items must also be integrated, matched, and customized with the current conference room furniture and room configuration. The Government would incur unspecified integration costs, administration costs, and delays in project completion/installation if another source were to be considered for the open market items. Firms believing they can provide similar requirements must provide supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 5 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for the open market items. Inquiries will only be accepted via email at nhaines@do.usbr.gov. Responses should include the firm's DUN and Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Firms should identify themselves as either small business, or other than small business, in accordance with the size standard for (NAICS) Code 443120 which is $8 Million. This notice may represent the only official notice of such a solicitation.
