- DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL SUPPORT, AMEDD CENTER AND SCHOOL, FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS. SOLICITATION NUMBER W81K00-07-R-0029. Great Plains Regional Contracting Office, 3851 Roger Brooke Drive, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234-6200 proposes to award a sole so urce contract to Idaho Technology, Inc. for acquisition of Joint Biological Agent Identification and Diagnostic System (JBAIDS) DNA and RNA extraction and assay kits for use on Government-owned JBAIDS analyzer equipment in accordance with the statutory aut hority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A firm fixed price type contract is proposed for one FY07 delivery and all other deliveries to be in FY08. THIS IS A NOTICE O F INTENT, THEREFORE REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 days from the date of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Governmen t.
