- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The Government anticipates awarding a contract for a contractor to provide all labor, material and equipment for the application of Fluid Film Gel BW in the Hercules Crane Barge, as defined in the statement of work, for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District. This action is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS Code is 238320 with a size of $13 million. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 29, 200 7, at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi-click on contracting opportunities search, enter W912EQ% in the solicitation number, click on the solicitation number, at the bottom for the next screen click on attachments, click on the pdf file and the solicitati on will opening up.
