- Description
- The US Army RDECOM Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement to purchase 64 each GPS kits, 64 each JPADS Kits, 2150 each Asonde R2s, 94 each GPS test tools, 9 each CF-29s and 9 each UHF test tools, with options to purchase 50 each GPS Retransmit Kit, 50 each JPADS Kits, 50 each Asonde R2s, 10 GPS test tool, 20 each CF-29 or CF-19 Laptop, 10 each UHF test tool and systems engineering services. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to Planning Systems Inc. , a Large Business located in Reston, VA. The equipment is currently fielded in theater and testing/training are currently underway by the Air Force under a current Broad Agency Announcement as an on-going program to enhance performance and product develop ment. The equipment is certified for use on wide body AMC aircraft and has all associated approval documentation and installation procedures. Crews are trained on the installation and operation of all equipment and associated software. The requisition n umber for this acquisition is W91A2K-AAAA-BBBB. This acquisition will be issued using Other Than Full and Open Competition under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i)(A) . The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7373 and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination and inspection and acceptance shall be at destination by the cognizant receiving authority. Period of Performance will be one year from Contract Award.
