- Combination Synopsis/Solicitation Solicitation Number: W9124R-07-T-1123 Comments/Technical Questions: 05 September 2007, 12:00 PM MST Response Date: 13 September 2007, 12:00 PM MST This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, a s sup plemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Quote (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provis ions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19, Effective 17 August 2007 Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (D FAR) current to DCN 20070828. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332311 with a size standard of 500 employees. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register o nline at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html The proposal shall consist of the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 0001, Quantity: 6, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Climatic Test Chamber, OPTION CLIN: 0002, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Each, Description, Climatic Test Chamber. See website h ttp://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/index.html for specifications. Vendors shall submit technical specifications and preliminary drawings of proposed climatic test chamber in order to determine technical capability. Offerors that fail to provide required i nformation may be excluded from consideration. All quotes shall include shipping costs to U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ 85365. Per FAR 52.212-2 the Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the pr oposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, past performance and price. All proposals shall be clearly marked with Request for Proposal number W9124R-07-T-1123 and emailed to the POC listed below or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than 13 September 2007, 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offerors shall include in their proposal, past performance information on at least three other contracts in wh ich they provided same or similar items. Past performance information shall include the following: 1) Contract Number, 2) Company/Agency Name and Address, 3) Point of Contact (Name) with Phone Number and Email Address and 4) Brief Synopsis of project to in clude price. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
